My Story
I have worked in the field of mental health for 20 years supporting and treating people who for a wide variety of reasons have experienced emotional or psychological distress.
I qualified as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist in 2001 and have spent the last two decades working with adults, children and adolescents within the NHS and Third sector organisations.
I currently work part time into an NHS CAMHS service as an Advanced practitioner/Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist alongside my private practice.
I am registered with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and with the Health and Care Professions Council which ensures I adhere to a robust professional code of conduct delivering high standards of care and professionalism.

Professional Qualifications
My Education & Qualifications
- BSc (hons) Occupational Therapy, University of Liverpool
- Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, CBT Training Centre at GMMH NHS Trust
- Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (level 2 accredited), University of Bolton
- CEMDR training (levels 1,2 and 3) completed with EMDR Europe
